The function of the evaporator in an air conditioning system

The evaporator plays an important role in the smooth operation of your car's air conditioning system. The evaporator, also known as the air cooler, which is a component of your air conditioning system, turns the pressurized refrigerant in your air conditioning into a gaseous state. The warm room air is drawn in by a fan and cooled over the evaporator. The cool air is then directed back into the cabin. Meanwhile, the refrigerant in the evaporator evaporates again.
